England's veteran pacer James Anderson has decided to retire from international cricket. The 41-year-old will end his 24-year cricketing career in the summer of 2024.
The decision came after England Test coach Brendon McCullum informed Anderson of the ECB's forward-looking decision. As a mark of respect, the Kiwis coach specially flew from New Zealand to England to inform the England speedster first hand.
To pay tribute to the legendary cricketer, the England Cricket Board has published 24 iconic photographs that shaped Anderson's cricketing career. One photo a year, and one icon to send out with the most respect.
