USC women's basketball brings in some of the top transfer players in the country. Former Stanford Cardinal Kiki Iliafen has announced her transfer to USC. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 6-foot-3 forward finished her junior season at Stanford, averaging 19.4 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, winning the Katrina McClain Award as the nation's top power forward. She was also named to the All-Pac-12 team and was named the Pac-12's Most Improved Player in 2024. Many expect her to be one of the top players selected or taken off the board in the 2025 WNBA Draft. .
The former five-star graduate of Harvard-Westlake in Los Angeles will return to the University of Southern California to help the University advance towards a national title. The Trojans are coming off a season in which they advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight for the first time in 30 years and looked poised to remain in contention for years to come.
Iriafen is an incredible addition to a Trojan team that already has the nation's No. 1 recruiting class heading into next season. The Trojans have three five-star players on the team for the 2024-2025 season, led by No. 6 overall prospect Kennedy Smith. These players are expected to help USC advance to the Elite Eight, but the addition of Iriafen could also be important. Iriafen adds experience to this group and, while talented, could take some time to adjust to the college and university game.
Adding Iriafen to a roster that already includes JuJu Watkins and Raya Marshall would be scary for future opponents. Like Marshall, Iriafen is also a rebounding machine, as both players averaged double-doubles in points and rebounds last season. Combine that with Watkins, who was the nation's top freshman this year and ranked second in the NCAA in points per game with 27.1, and the Trojans could be unstoppable next season.
