The 2024 North Carolina Women's Ice Hockey Championship berths were announced on March 10th. Eleven teams were selected to play, with Ohio State being the No. 1 seed.
Regional competitions will conclude on March 16th to determine the women's Frozen 4 at the Whittemore Center Arena in Durham, New Hampshire. The national semi-finals will be held on Friday, March 22nd, followed by the championship game on Sunday, March 24th.
Wisconsin defeated Ohio State 1-0 in the 2023 NCAA title game to earn its seventh championship in program history and become the defending national champion.
