University Park, Pennsylvania โ new student Reese Laubach Penn State (San Jose, Calif.) scored two goals and Penn State defeated No. 14 Michigan, 4-2, in Big Ten Conference action Saturday night inside Pegula Ice Arena. I won and got back on my feet.

- Michigan took a 1-0 lead with a great pass from Dylan Duke that got TJ Hughes behind the defense and a goal inside the far post at 4:29 of the first period. Despite their pace, they took the lead with a goal.
- Penn State fought back on the power play, with Laubach converting a fellow freshman's rebound into the near post to tie the score at 1-1. Aiden Finks (Calgary, Alberta) The first shot went wide at the 6:43 mark.
- The Nittany Lions took the lead late in the second period as a sophomore. Dylan Gratton (Pottstown, Pa.) took a corner kick past the blocker of Wolverine netminder Jacob Barczewski for a 2-1 advantage at 5:35 p.m.

- Soulier played in his 78th game as a Nittany Lion on Saturday night, passing Matthew Skov in 2016 for second place on the all-time list behind Peyton Jones in 2020 with 133 games. His 76 starts are second all-time behind Jones.

- Laubach earned his first career multi-goal game on Saturday night, marking his second consecutive year and fourth career multi-point game.
