ULM opens the season at home under first-year head coach Bryant Vincent on Aug. 31 against Jackson State. The Warhawks will host UAB in Week 2 at Monroe on Sept. 7.
Following a bye week, the Warhawks will take their first road trip of the season on September 21st, traveling to Austin, Texas to play the College Football Playoff semifinalists at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. against Texas.
The Warhawks begin SBC play on the road, taking on the defending SBC Champion Troy Trojans on Saturday, September 28th.
ULM will play its first game against James Madison on Oct. 5, while the Warhawks will host the Dukes at Malone Stadium before a conference home game against Southern Miss on Oct. 12. The Warhawks will spend October on the road in Mobile, Alabama, playing against South. Alabama on October 26th.
ULM is scheduled for its first-ever trip to Marshall on Nov. 2, and the Warhawks and Thundering Herd will face off on the gridiron in the 1987 NCAA Division I-AA championship, won by Northeast Louisiana at the time. It will be the first time since the National Championship Game. , 43-42. ULM returns to Monroe on November 9th to host Texas State.
The Warhawks will play their final nonconference game of the season on Nov. 16 at Auburn. ULM's final road game of the regular season is scheduled for November 23rd at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
ULM will host the Ragin' Cajuns at Malone Stadium on Saturday, November 30th in the final regular season game. Five of the last seven games between the two schools have been decided by seven points or less.
The 2024 Sun Belt Football Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7.
