LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. has been selected by the Tennessee Titans in the fifth round, 146th overall, of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Brownlee is the second former Cardinal to be selected in this year's draft, following running back Isaac Guerendo. He is also the 138th NFL Draft pick in school history and the 29th former Louisville player to be drafted in the past 11 years.
Although Brownlee was somewhat limited in the final few games of the season due to a foot injury, he was still one of the best cornerbacks in the ACC. He started 11 games and nine games last season, and the 6-foot, 190-pound corner had 30 tackles, one for loss, six pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery.

The Miami Gardens, Fla., native came to Louisville ahead of the 2022 season after spending three years at Florida State University. Despite his struggles, including poor coverage, Brownlee still made an impact due to his physical nature. In his first season as a Cardinal, he started all 13 games and had 12 pass breakups, second in the ACC, as well as 66 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and two interceptions. did.
During his time with the Seminoles, Brownlee had 78 tackles, 4.0 for a loss, one sack, three interceptions, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 21 games.
