New Delhi: Sherfan Rutherford's spectacular pitching helped Quetta Gladiators to a five-wicket win against Karachi Kings in a thrilling Pakistan Super League match.
Rutherford's unbeaten half-century (58 off 31 balls), comprising six sixes and a boundary off the last ball, helped Quetta recover from a mid-off collapse and reach a total of 169/5. This victory was Quetta's fourth win in five matches.
Karachi Kings struggled against Quetta's spinners and could only manage a total of 165/8 despite a good start from James Vince (37) and Tim Seifert (21). This is Karachi's third loss in five matches.
The team was also affected by the virus, with players such as Mir Hamza, Tabraiz Shamsi and Reus du Plooy missing the match. Du Plooy was also hospitalized.

In the second half of the Karachi innings, Abrar Ahmed performed well with three wickets, including the dismissal of Keyron Pollard. Hasan Ali also contributed with an unbeaten 25 runs, scoring 20 off Mohammad Wasim's final over.
