Historically, fantasy football has been a highlight of the NFL season across the United States. Fantasy football is unique from other sports in that you don't root for a team, you root for a player you believe in. Extensive research has been done to examine the history and records of players in order to compare them to professional players. Cons of selecting that player for your fantasy team.
Football season is over and primary season begins.
Spend as much time researching primary polls as you do your fantasy football team. If you are confident they can win the general election for you, put a circle next to their name. Ask yourself the question, “Does this candidate have the experience to deliver on their promises?” Take 5 minutes to research and research a candidate's background and experience. Tips on where to start:

LinkedIn experience – Verify qualifications
white pages – Look at their history and background
North Carolina Secretary of State – Check if you own a business
Campaign site – Compare your research with their promises
For too long, we have heard politicians talk the talk and forget to walk the walk. In a sense, if we elected them based on false narratives and mass campaigns, we cannot fully blame them or hold them accountable.
Albert Einstein often said: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.”
The primary election is more important than the general election. On a 12-position ballot, there are usually two or three candidates to choose from. Primaries allow you to choose the person who is best for the job and represents your party.
Many political groups, PACs, politicians, and leaders are emphasizing the fact that they are distancing themselves from primaries. In fantasy football, it's like getting the first draft, handing it over and picking from the last one left. No one would do that.
If you don't participate in the primaries, it's better not to participate in the entire election. We should focus on electing the right people, not political parties. When the General is reached, there will be one candidate for each position representing the party. Don't make the mistake of voting against someone on your ballot because of the letters next to their name.
Invite your friends to print your district's ballot and have a Primary season party. Have fun researching the candidates and asking questions. Our elections don't have to be boring, and we the people don't have to sit through them. Fantasy football is held every year. Our elections are held every 2-4 years. Let's make this election count and send our best players to the general election!
