Steve Klagthrope coached Tulsa Golden Hurricane football from 2003 to 2006 before taking the same position at Louisville.
In his first year, he led TU to its first bowl game appearance since 1991, winning the Conference USA Championship and the Liberty Bowl in 2005.
He is scheduled to be inducted into the University of Tulsa's Hall of Fame, but unfortunately, he has recently been battling Parkinson's disease, noted Eric Bailey.
In the video above, Bailey pays tribute to his former TU coach.
