- Sophomore forward Tessa Janecke His goal in Game 2 of the CHA semifinals marked his 100th career point.
- This makes Yanecke the fastest player in program history to reach the 100-point career point mark, with 39 goals and 61 assists in just two seasons.
- She currently ranks third in the nation in scoring with 53 of 17 goals and 36 assists.
Penn State wins CHA Weekly Award
- The Nittany Lions won two College Hockey America Weekly Awards on Monday. Katie Desa Named CHA's Goaltender of the Week Lindy Lobdell Earned CHA Defensive Player of the Week honors.
- Desa earned his second CHA weekly award of the season after allowing just one goal in two CHA semifinal games. His sophomore year he posted a .50 GAA and a .987 save percentage. She stopped 24 shots on Saturday, Feb. 24, in a 4-0 win in Game 2 of the series against Penn State, earning her third shutout win of the season.
- Lobdell's award comes after he recorded one goal and one assist in Penn State's 4-0 shutout victory over RIT in Game 2 of the CHA semifinals. He had six blocked shots in two games against the Tigers and had a plus/minus rating of +2. This is Lobdell's third CHA Weekly honor this season.
Zencha Honor Award
- The Nittany Lions placed three student-athletes on the 2023-2024 All-CHA team. Tessa Janecke, brianna brooksand maggie mceachern Each earned All-CHA honors.
- Janecke, who was named to the All-CHA first team, finished the regular season as the league's leading scorer with career-highs 16 goals, 36 assists, and 52 points. She has been named CHA Forward of the Week four times and CHA Forward of the Month three times. Jannecke also had two hat tricks and led the nation in faceoff wins during the regular season with a total of 558. This is the second time Janecke has been named to the first-team All-CHA list.
- Brooks, who was named to the All-CHA second team, finished the regular season with 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points. She was named CHA Forward of the Week twice this season and recorded eight multi-point games.
- McEachern was also named to the second-team All-CHA list after recording five goals and 13 assists and 42 blocked shots during the regular season. She was named CHA Defensive Player of the Week three times during the season and was named CHA Defensive Player of the Month once. McEachern recorded four multi-point games during the regular season and scored her single game-winning goal on February 3 against Mercyhurst.
Individual CHA Award
- CHA announced the individual award winners Thursday afternoon.head coach Jeff Campersal Named CHA Coach of the Year Tessa Janecke He was named CHA Player and Forward of the Year.
- Jannecke finished the regular season as the league's leading scorer with career-highs 16 goals, 36 assists, and 52 points. This is Yanecke's first CHA Player and Forward of the Year honor.
- Campersal earned his third CHA Coach of the Year award, earning the honor in both the 2020-21 and 2022-23 seasons. He earned this honor after a strong year, winning 19 regular season games and winning his third CHA regular season title belt. This team consists of a total of 24 of his CHA weekly award winners, eight of his CHA monthly award winners, and his three All-CHA team selections.
- Campersal produced a team that went undefeated in six games and ranked in the top 15 in the country. He also achieved 100 career wins as Penn State's head coach, ranking fifth among current coaches in wins. At Penn State, Campersal posted a 118-78-40 (.585) record.
