Kilmarnock Junior Ice Hockey Club hosted the annual Ensign Ewart Tournament with a number of top trophies up for grabs.
The tournament took place at the Galleon Centre, named after one of the town's most famous figures, Lieutenant Ewart, who captured the French regiment's eagle at the Battle of Waterloo.
The event brought together the local Killie team as well as clubs from Widnes, Telford, Aberdeen, Belfast, Kirkcaldy, Lanarkshire, Edinburgh and North Ayrshire, and saw the participation of many of the best young ice hockey players and teams from across the UK.
Four age-group tournaments were held and were won by Belfast (Under-10), Aberdeen (Under-12), Belfast (Under-14) and Kilmarnock (Under-16).
In addition to the team success for Killie, there were also personal wins, with three local players winning Star Player of the Tournament awards.
In the under-16 competition, goalkeeper Malachy Mitchell, forward Torin McLachlan and under-10 forward Alfie Gunn were awarded prizes.
Kilmarnock has junior teams competing in the Scottish League and Cup from Under-12 to Under-19 and also boasts a senior team, Kilmarnock Thunder, who finished third in the Scottish National League last season.
The club also has players represented in both the Scottish and British junior and senior national teams.
