Five Democrats and three Republicans are vying to represent the party in the November election.
This year's race includes big-name candidates, including Bill Graham. dale falwellMike Morgan Josh Stein.
Over the past few months, all four have sat down with Joe Bruno to talk about why they're running for office and their plans if elected.
“I have continued to fight great battles for the people of this state as attorney general,” Stein said. Great economic opportunities, a strong health care system, and a safe community. ”
“Looking at the candidates who were running, I think I can bring a conservative future to our state. And I have a plan to lower taxes, put more money in families' pockets, and reduce crime. I think there is,” Graham said.
“No one is calling the Treasury Department or calling the governor's office or state government to book a cruise,” Falwell said. Therefore, the Falwell administration will likely focus on answering the phones. ”
“I know that North Carolina still has a lot to give. I love this state. Much has been given and much is required,” Morgan said. What best serves North Carolina? And how can we best serve North Carolina to shape what should happen in North Carolina coming out of these elections in 2024?”
Republican candidate and current North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson declined our request for an interview.
