LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – A former Lawrence County youth football league president is wanted on charges of statutory rape.
The Loretto Police Department reported that 43-year-old Jason William Cromwell was last seen on Wednesday, April 24th.
Cromwell is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl in Kentucky on Sunday, April 21st. Investigators worked for three days with assistance from the District Attorney's Office and Kentucky State Police.
Cromwell was indicted Wednesday by a Lawrence County grand jury on a charge of aggravated statutory rape. He has been removed from his role as president of Loretto Youth Football, according to Loretto Police.
He is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, 250 pounds, with brown hair and gray/blue eyes, according to Loretto Police.
