Former Ohio State offensive lineman Matthew Jones has been with the Buckeyes since January 2018.

Jones signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free player on Saturday night.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Jones is a versatile and physical lineman who played in 41 total games and started 17 total as a Buckeye.
Jones is the nation's top-ranked center from Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, New York, and played both right guard and center at Ohio State.
It took two years for Jones to get significant playing time in the Buckeye offense. During the 2020 season, which was shortened due to COVID-19, Jones started three games, including two in Ohio State's playoff games, and played in all eight games.
Jones had his best season in 2022, starting 12 of 13 games at right guard and earning second-team All-Big Ten honors.He helped the offensive line by allowing the sixth-fewest tackles for loss in the country. [50] 7th fewest quarterback sacks [12].
Now that Jones is heading to the pros, he will be protecting Tua Tagovailoa from defensive damage.
