Pierre — Wait a minute. The revised 2024 Class 11AAA and 11AA high school football schedule was released by the South Dakota High School Activities Association last week.
This includes schedules for area Class 11AA teams Watertown and Aberdeen Central.
Rapid City's Rushmore Bowl was not included in the original Class 11AAA schedule, so schedules for both classes were amended to make the adjustment.
Like last week at state, the official dates and times have not yet been determined, but each team knows who they will play, what week they will play, and whether it will be home or away.

Classes 11B and 9-man (9AA, 9A, 9B) can begin play in Week 0 (Thursday-Friday, Aug. 22-24) and complete the regular season by Oct. 18. Playoffs are set for October 24th. 31st and November 8th.
Classes 11AAA, AA and AA can begin play in Week 1 (August 29-31) and conclude the regular season on October 25th. Playoffs are set for October 31st and 8th place.
State championships for all classes are scheduled for Nov. 14-16 at the Dakota Dome in Vermilion.
The new schedules for Watertown and Aberdeen Central are as follows:
Most games are scheduled for Friday, with options for Thursday and Saturday. The schedule keys are: Week 0 (August 22-24), Week 1 (August 29-31), Week 2 (September 5-7), Week 3 (September). Week 4 (September 12-14), Week 5 (September 26-28), Week 6 (October 3-5), Week 7 (October 10) 8th week (October 17th to 19th), 9th week (October 19th to 19th) 24).
